CEARA is awarded an important international project for ITER

1 December, 2023.

CEARA is pleased to announce the award by the European Joint Undertaking for the ITER Organization and the Development of Fusion Energy (Fusion for Energy) of the supply, assembly and testing of instrumentation and control equipment for the distribution system of front cryogenic pumps (FECDS) and the Torus Cryogenic Pumping System and Cryostat (TCCS) I&C. The #ITER project aims to build a fusion device, twice the size of current largest devices, with the aim of demonstrating the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion energy. This is a joint project between the European Union, China, India, Japan, South Korea, the Russian Federation and the United States. #ITER will be built in Europe, in Cadarache, in the south of France. The Consortium created between Framatome, an international leader in nuclear energy with innovative, digital and value-added solutions, and CEARA, a manufacturer of electrical panels with a presence in different energy sectors and in numerous countries, celebrates this important milestone and is proud to be part of this pioneering nuclear project. This project represents a strategic partnership of enormous value for both companies by pooling experience and knowledge proven over decades.
